On March 1, 2010, nine men arrived at the loading docks of the Sapelo Island ferry. I was one of them. We arrive prepared for four days of raw maritime nature, camping and camp fires, adventure and photography. This multimedia piece commemorates the nine men of these four days – the Brotherhood of the Sapelo.
**I was the only person who shot video. But the still images in this piece are from all six people who made photos on this trip. Aside from me, those photographers are Wes Marston, David Moynahan, James Pion, Moishe Groger and John Schert. |
